How can I identify the Breed Society or Studbook that issued the Unique Equine Life Number (UELN) for my horse/s?

This article will explain how you can find out which Breed Society in Canada issued a Unique Equine Life Number (UELN).

If the UELN starts with the numbers 124, the UELN was issued by a Breed Society in Canada. The subsequent three numbers denote the Breed Society.

The table below provides a list of all Breed Societies in Canada and their unique prefix number.
