A ‘Person in Charge of Animal’ (PICA) is the person who daily looks after the equine and is the best person to contact in case of an emergency e.g. a disease outbreak. If no other PIC is selected, it will be assumed that the owner is also the Person in Charge of the Animal.

Co-Owner, Farm owner, Barn manager, or staff member
Leaser, Rider, Trainer, Groom etc

There can only be one Person in Charge
