You should update your equines records on the Digital Stable as soon as your horse is microchipped. The microchip details can then be displayed on their digital smartcard. The details will also help facilitate reunification should your equine be lost or stolen.

You should also contact any breed registries, sport organizations, or passport issuing bodies that hold ID documents for your equine.
